Elysian medical centre is committed to providing caring, high-quality medical service to families and individuals, young and old. Patients visiting the Centre can expect professional service from the moment they arrive.
Our practice is based on a philosophy of delivering comprehensive care with all of your health services under one roof.


Billing Policy
We offer bulk billing to ALL patients with a valid Medicare card for standard face-to-face, mental health, telephone and chronic condition management consults. Other procedures and treatment room services may attract a fee, please see below or ask our friendly reception team.
A fee will apply for missed appointments.
We kindly request that accounts are paid at time of consultation. Medicare rebates are processed at reception for your convenience. We accept cash, cheque, Eftpos, Visa, or Mastercard. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express.
Services with no Medicare rebate
Our friendly reception team can provide information about the fees for the following services: Overseas visitors, patients without a valid Medicare card, insurance medicals, driving licence medicals, sporting medicals, pre-employment medicals, and Commercial & Dangerous Goods Licences. These services are not covered by Medicare and will be privately billed.

Dr Najwa Mohammed

Dr Najwa Mohammed has been the most dedicated and consistent female GP serving the community of Bribie Island and surrounding areas .
Dr Najwa , founder of Elysian Medical Centre, has a passion for all aspects of general medicine, ranging from ante natal care , paediatrics , the unique group of the millennials in our area- whom she has been honoured to be their GP since they were born , to men and woman’s health . mental health , managing chronic disease and the elderly .
With her wisdom , her exceptional knowledge of general medicine and her unparalleled experience she has acquired from working in the community for more than two decades , she practices medicine of the highest quality

Dr Ramin Habibi
Dr. Ramin Habibi is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 17 years of expertise in delivering comprehensive medical care. Originally from Iran, Dr. Habibi has successfully managed a wide spectrum of health conditions with a focus on safety and excellence. Now practicing in Australia, he brings a deep understanding of general practice, offering patients the highest standard of care.
Dr.Habibi has a special interest in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, rheumatologic disorders, and thyroid problems. By taking a holistic approach, he tailors personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their best possible health outcomes.
In addition to physical health, Dr. Habibi is dedicated to supporting mental well-being. He understands the crucial link between physical and mental health, providing compassionate care for patients facing mental health challenges. Patients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where their individual needs are thoroughly addressed, questions are answered, and they are actively involved in making informed healthcare decisions.

Dr Thalia Jayasekera
Dr Thalia Jayasekera is interested in all avenues of General Practice but takes particular interest in Mental Health, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health(Completed Sydney Child Health Program -2020), Chronic Disease Management and Skin Cancer Medicine (Completed Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine- 2022)
Following her graduation in 2012 she has worked in multiple Critical Care settings in Sri Lanka for many years where she completed her Diploma in Critical Care Medicine at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine. After moving to Australia she has worked in Hospital Emergency Departments in several states before settling down in General Practice.
Thalia is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients and wishes to help empower her patients to make informed healthy lifestyle choices. She strives to be thorough with all her patients and believes preventive medicine is key to living happier, longer and healthier lives.

Dr Ensieh Madhkhanesfahani
Dr Ensieh Madhkhansfahani joined Elysian Medical Centre team in March 2023 as a full-time GP Registrar, and is currently working towards fellowship with the RACGP
Dr Ensieh, graduated from Medical school in 2009 in Iran. She has been working as a medical practitioner since then. Working in different fields such as:
- Emergency department
- Geriatric acute care
- Endocrinology department
- Opioid dependency therapy
- Cosmetic dermatology
She has great knowledge and skill for managing various medical conditions in General Practice.
Ensieh moved to Australia with her family in 2019 and was working in Goldcoast with an amazing team of General Practitioners and skin cancer doctors.
Dr Ensieh has keen interest in:
* Geriatric Medicine : Chronic conditions management including hypertension, kidney disease, cognition disorders, asthma, COPD, etc.
* Endocrinology : thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis.
* Women's health : contraception, antenatal care, abnormal bleeding and infection.
* Paediatrics health : immunisation, regular growth checks, infections, behavioural problems.
* Preventative health: cancer screening, immunisation
* Mental health : depression, anxiety, sleep disorders.

Dr Ensi speaks English and Farsi/Persian.
She is active on spare time in the gym and playing with her son. Running on the beach is one of her favourite activities.
Ensi passionately works with international charities and active in international women's rights NGOs."

Dr Lalit Mohan Dalal
Dr Lalit Mohan Dalal has experience in Cardiology, Accident and Emergency medicine and General practice. Dr Lalit is passionate about all areas of General Practice with special interest in chronic condition management and preventative health. Lalit enjoys watching cricket, movies and travelling. He also speaks Hindi and Russian.

Louise Mitchell (Psychologist)
Louise is a registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi). She greatly values working with people across the lifespan – from children to adults – to help improve health, wellbeing, and functioning experiences from a mental health perspective.
Louise has an extensive professional background in both community-based mental health settings (including family mental health and school-based outreach services) and private practice. Her therapeutic practices encompass humanistic, non-judgmental, person-centred and trauma-informed care, in an open and approachable manner. She incorporates elements of cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, filial play therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy in her individualised interventions.
Louise is a trained facilitator of the Emotionally Intelligent Parenting program Tuning in to Teens™ and the Children of Parents with a Mental Illness (COPMI) Koping Kidz program. She has also completed Applied Skills in Perinatal Mental Health Assessment and Care training through the national Centre of Perinatal Excellence, and intensive experiential professional development in Trauma Informed Care and Practice – An Indigenous approach to developing worker skills.

We do not have the coverage for emergencies or to provide crisis support, and are unable to respond urgently to telephone calls or emails.

Peter Fairgray is an award-winning prescribing pharmacist and nationally recognised leader in men’s health, with more than 30 years’ experience in community pharmacy. He is the founder of BlokesHealth and Queensland’s leading pharmacist provider of specialised men’s health services, working in collaboration with MensHealth Downunder to improve access to practical, evidence-based care for men across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Peter provides comprehensive support for men experiencing erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer recovery concerns, penile rehabilitation, urinary continence issues, Peyronie’s disease, and general sexual health concerns. Services include vacuum erection device (VED) training, intracavernosal injection education and titration, penile rehabilitation programs, continence support including clamps and cuffs, and traction therapy guidance for Peyronie’s disease. Consultations are designed to provide practical solutions, education, and ongoing support in a professional and approachable environment.
Peter was one of the first pharmacists in Australia to qualify as a prescribing pharmacist through James Cook University and continues to assist in training pharmacists in extended and full scope practice. He was recognised as the 2025 PSA Queensland Pharmacist of the Year and 2023 TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacist of the Year for his innovative work advancing pharmacist-led patient care.
The new Bribie Island BlokesHealth clinic provides local access to specialised men’s health support without the need for a direct referral. Patients are welcome to self-book appointments or may be referred by their GP, urologist, prostate cancer nurse, or other healthcare professional.

CONSULTATIONS: WE’RE HERE TO HELP
Elysian Medical Centre is offering phone consultation appointments where it is safe and clinically appropriate to do so. We are also still offering face-to-face consultations as per usual. Telephone appointments will be processed in line with our regular Billing Policy.
